- Definition: Night Vision Systems (Cooled/Uncooled)
-
Light Amplification and augmentation systems and sensors using cryogentic (cooled) or thermoelectric (uncooled) sensors. Future night vision systems will use superior optical "wave" theory versus the current erroneous "photon" theories used in optics, IR , UV, and X-Ray spectra, obviating the need for any cooling or lenses. These systems will provide coherent, spatial, frequency, polarization, and phase detection, thereby enhancing military, health, and homeland security night vision and related imaging functionality. Nanotechnology and unique light generation devices will revolutionize optical systems in the IR, visual, UV, and X-Ray regions.
