Definition:

Luxury Footwear

Expensive footwear made from exquisite and sometimes exotic materials pieced together with exceptional workmanship and manufactured in small quantities. Designs are exclusive and generally recognizable among the consumer of luxury goods. While many products within the footwear industry are designed and built for specific end use, the primary function of luxury footwear is to be subtly different and to look good. Currently luxury footwear is a very small part of the business, but consumer demand has recently grown at a higher rate than the overall industry.
