Global Distribution System New Entrants (GNE) are the newer computer reservation systems competing against the older, legacy Global Distribution Systems. Examples of these new entrants are G2 Switchworks and ITA Software. These new entrants are often portrayed as limited and not up to the task of full distribution for airline ticketing.
