Definition: Footwear Accessories

Also called “Findings” and more recently as “Margin Enhancers.” Primarily refers to products that are sold in addition to a footwear purchase that increases the performance or protects the purchase or enhances it. Typically is limited to shoe polish, cleaners, water and stain protectors, shoe laces, shoe trees, shine cloths, brushes, and shoe horns. Can also include products that have to do with the foot such as insoles/inserts, socks, foot-specific lotions, etc.
