An electronic device that allows a player to make a wager on the outcome of an event. This outcome is determined by the player’s skill, a microprocessor board that contains an electronic program which depends on a random number generator for selecting the outcome, or a central computer electronically selecting an outcome randomly from a “bucket” of predetermined outcome events. The outcome resulting in a reward consisting of credits to be cashed out as a “ticket” displays the credits in dollar amounts to be exchanged for cash or prizes.
