- Definition: Class II Gaming
-
Gambling activities conducted by recognized Native American Tribes on their land in which the games that are played are only those where players play against other players rather than against the house. The additional caveat is that Tribes retain their authority to conduct such games as long as they are legally conducted within the state in which the Tribe is located. Examples of these games include bingo (either electronic or traditional paper), lotteries (either paper or electronic), and cards (e.g., Texas Hold ‘Em, Hi-Lo, etc.).
