Carpet tiles

A carpet tile is defined as a square piece of carpet that is 12", 18" or 36" square. The face fiber is nylon or polypropylene. The nylon face fiber is pre-dyed before the carpet tile is made or printed after the carpet tile is made. The polypropylene face fiber is pre-dyed before the carpet tile is made. The carpet tile backing is PVC (polyvinylchloride), PU (polyurethane), or a synthetic composite material. Carpet tiles are used as flooring in commercial (business) applications and in residential homes. A carpet tile can be installed with or without an adhesive. Carpet tiles can be recycled.
