Health Economic Consulting Group (HECG) is a group of experienced academic health economists and health services researchers providing research and expert consulting services in three practice areas: 1) cost and outcome analysis; 2) market and business analysis; and 3) regulatory and policy analysis. HECG has a national reputation for conducting rigorous research and providing solid expert services. HECG has conducted a large variety of research projects for a wide range of clients, including large pharmaceutical manufacturers, health plans and managed care organizations, investment firms, trade associations, medical device manufacturers, public relations firms, state and city governments and contract research organizations. In addition, HECG principals and associates have extensive experience as investigators on grants funded by government organizations and foundations. The majority of HECG research projects result in publications in peer-reviewed journals.
