No one has yet to figure out how to efficiently monetize the traffic on social network sites, not even Google, MySpace or Facebook. This is because social networks are not conducive to the traditional advertising model / monetization approaches. It will take several years to figure out an effective business model.

While I agree that the open source community drives innovation, the myth of David and Goliath, or the romantic notion that somehow Xen will become the new standard remains just that--myth. Sun Micro Systems, perhaps the slowest student in the classroom finally realized that fighting open source software such as Linux is akin to Wiley Coyote trying to argue with Gravity.
