Yuri Raifeld, Ph.D., Dr. Sci.

Yuri Raifeld is a President at Raifarm, a contract research organization in Russian Federation, since March 2007. Raifarm performs market analyses, then markets, sells and distributes medical products for a wide range of companies – from global pharmaceutical entities to small biotechnological firms. Raifarm focuses on the Russian, Ukrainian and Kazakh markets. Currently, the company is obtaining licenses for many medical substances on behalf of several clients, while also conducting market assessments, and providing assistance with their marketing campaigns. Prof. Raifeld has over 30 years of experience in Russian and CIS healthcare. Prior to founding Raifarm, he served for over seven years as a President, COO, and Head of the Moscow office for ClinStar. Previously, Prof. Raifeld worked at Wyeth-Ayerst Research in the United States for seven years. Prior to that Prof. Raifeld served as a consultant to American Cyanamid for three years.
