Yongmao Frank Chang, Ph.D., is a senior principal engineer and project leader at Vitesse Semiconductor Corporation, a company manufacturing analog and mixed signal semiconductor ICs. He specializes in optical system engineering and product specifications definition for analog and digital ASIC products. He manages the system engineering group and lab. He has over 15 years of experience in the optical networking industry. He is experienced in managing projects for the developments of WDM subsystem and fiber optical components. Dr. Chang represents Vitesse in standard committees including OIF/ITU, IEEE 802.3, and FSAN. He is knowledgeable in electronic dispersion compensation, PMD and PHY, FEC, and VoIP chipsets. Previously, he was a senior hardware engineer at Cisco; and a research scientist at JDS Uniphase. (This is me - Update Profile)
