William Nichols, PhD

William Nichols, P.Eng., is the President of William Nichols Consulting, a Calgary, Alberta based firm providing consulting services in the oil and gas industry. Dr. Nichols has more than 29 years of experience in managing drilling, production, reservoir simulation, and business development operations in the oil and gas industry. He also has extensive experience in conducting field optimization, corporate and asset acquisitions and investment analysis. Dr. Nichols specializes in supervising exploration and production operations in oil sands, shale gas, conventional oil and gas and unconventional oil and gas industries. He holds a BSc. in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Alberta. Dr. Nichols is a registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in the Province of Alberta. (This is me - Update Profile)
