William Fink, R.Ph.

William Fink, RPH, is the President of Managed Care Pharmacy Consultants, Inc., in Tucson, Arizona, and has been active in managed care pharmacy for more than 25 years. His expertise includes managing pharmacy programs for HMOs (including Medicare and Medicaid) and self-insured employer groups. He evaluates new Biotech and Orphan Drug pharmaceuticals for formulary inclusion. He developed the RxAccord software program to provide patient pharmacy and laboratory data to hospital emergency rooms and in-patient facilities. He has expertise in the field of Health Information Exchange (HIE) and is assisting the State of Arizona, under a federal grant, to develop the ability of every physician, hospital EDs, and urgent care centers to access patient information. He is involved in the pharmacy and laboratory data part and can accept electronic data in any format and develop it into an actionable data base available to clinical personnel through a secure website.
