Walter van Schalkwijk, PhD, is Principal of EnergyPlex Corporation, a firm providing consulting services in the portable power systems such as batteries, fuel cells, and solar cells. Dr. van Schalkwijk has more than 25 years of experience in providing consulting services, executing research, developing products, and managing manufacturing, market analysis, battery charging, monitoring, control electronics, and applications engineering operations in the battery and fuel cells industries. He is a member of the Electrochemical Society and is past Chairman of the Society’s Nanotechnology Committee and past member of its Board of Directors. Dr. van Schalkwijk has published “Advances in Lithium-Ion Batteries”. He is also an affiliate Professor of Chemical Engineering at the University of Washington and Chairman of the Advisory Board on Bio-Energy at the university. (This is me - Update Profile)
