Vinay Singhal

Mr. Vinay Singhal is the Managing Director and Founder of SJV Consultants, India. His technical experience covers operations, maintenance and project management in large industrial plants. Mr. Singhal has expertise in energy management which includes erection and operation of all types of captive power plants. He received the coveted Chairman’s Award for his work at Hindustan Unilever. Mr. Singhal has over 35 years of work experience in senior management positions with DCM, Hindustan Lever, JK, Indo Rama and Ranbaxy. He introduced several innovative initiatives that helped achieve turnaround at JK and Indo Rama. At Fortis, he led the team that built a state of art Super Specialty Hospital in record breaking period of 18 months which was repeated for construction of subsequent hospitals. His recent assignments include being the Country Director for the Clinton Foundation’s HIV/AIDS initiative in India. In this role, Vinay coordinated all activities of the Foundation in India. He controlled a budget of $7.5 million and was responsible for implementing the Foundations’ MOU with the Government of India. Mr. Singhal also acted as a liaison between the India office, other country operations and the head office in Quincy, Boston. Mr. Singhal is actively working for creating Senior Living Homes in different Locations all over the country and now operates in the field of Healthcare, Education, Social Sector and Energy.
