Tom Simonson was (June 08) the Executive Director - Business Development for Mainline Information Systems, a $600M a year VAR. In this transitional role, he was working on developing complimentary and synergistic business model investments to help accelerate their growth. From June 2005 to May 2007, Mr. Simonson was Executive Vice President at Mainline with full P&L responsibility and ran the entire day to day operations of the company. He also led the development of their strategic growth plan. Mainline is IBM's largest reseller in the United States. Previously, Mr. Simonson spent over 21 years at IBM; the last 10 as an executive and the last 5 as a senior executive with responsibility for many different aspects of IBM's business on a worldwide basis.
