Tina Alster, MD

Tina Alster, MD, is the Director of Washington Institute of Dermatologic Laser Surgery and a Clinical Professor of Dermatology at Georgetown University. Dr. Alster has received world-wide recognition and numerous awards in the field of cosmetic and dermatologic laser surgery. She has lectured and published extensively on laser surgical treatment of birthmarks, scars, tattoos, pigmented lesions, aged and photodamaged skin. Dr. Alster is an active member of the AAD, AMA, ASDS, ASLMS, and DC Dermatologic Society. She serves as a consulting dermatologist to Lancome, assisting with new product development and industry direction. Dr. Alster has been featured on the Today Show, Oprah Winfrey Show, CNN, Discovery, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart as well as in several magazines and newspapers, including the NY Times and Wall Street Journal.
