Thomas Merrick

Thomas Merrick is President of Strategic Planning Associates. He provides consulting services for nuclear power generation, economics of nuclear power and the Uranium fuel cycle. He is also thoroughly knowledgeable on advanced technologies such as fusion and alternative energy sources. In addition, he has a comprehensive understanding of the relative costs of traditional power, nuclear power and renewables. He holds graduate degrees in Radiological Physics and Management. Mr. Merrick's career was split between Westinghouse(nuclear design and operations) and Fluor(construction) where he also served as Senior VP for Strategic Planning. He serves on the area Homeland Security Council and consults on nuclear, chemical and biological threats. He is on the Boards of Source Capital (NYSE:SOR) and FPA mutual funds. He has worked extensively in Europe, South America and Asia and maintains contacts in each area. (This is me - Update Profile)
