Thomas Ackermann, PhD, is the Chief Executive Officer of Energynautics; specializing in distributed power generation in wind power and electricity market deregulation. Dr. Ackermann has experience in providing energy consultancy services in Germany, Sweden, China, USA, New Zealand, Australia, and India. He is also a senior lecturer at Royal Institute of Technology. Dr. Ackermann holds a MS in Industrial Engineering from the Technical University, Germany and an MS in Physics from Dunedin University, New Zealand, and a PhD from the Royal University of Technology in Sweden. He has published more than 70 academic and scientific publications on renewable power generation, distributed generation, network integration of distributed generation, and market regulation in liberalized electricity markets. Dr. Ackermann has also authored a book on Wind Power in Power Systems. (This is me - Update Profile)
