Thom Williams is the Principal & Managing Director at AmherstAlphaAdvisors Co. Mr. Williams is a recognized expert in the operational, financial, and technology issues key to profitability in the commercial freight transportation (trucking, intermodal, & ocean-marine) and corporate logistics sectors. He has served as the Executive Vice President and a member of the Board of Directors of the American Global Transportation & Logistics Group, a privately-held, technology-infused, fast-growing provider of asset-based corporate freight (truckload, rail intermodal, and marine container) transportation and distribution services and asset-lite third-party logistics services, serving major shipper-customers throughout the US, Canada, and Mexico. Under Mr. Williams’ direction, via selective acquisitions in combination with organic development, AGTLG’s gross revenues and net income grew consistently at an annually compounded rate exceeding 125%.
