Council Member Biography

Tal Raeside is Managing Director at Insight Strategic Services, a consulting firm focused on new media and convergence. He is a telecom, media and technology veteran with 20 years experience. His expertise includes: mobile, convergence, Internet, new media, advertising, software and hardware. He has spoken extensively at global telecom and media conferences. Previously, Mr. Raeside was VP Marketing and Strategy at IXI Mobile, and sold mobile devices and services to carriers worldwide, including AT&T, Swisscom and Vodafone. His extensive interactions with mobile value chain members includes operators, OEMs, ODMs, component suppliers, application / content providers, distributors and consumers. He also worked at Mitchell Madison Group, a global management consultancy formed by McKinsey partners, and Andersen Consulting (Accenture), advising Fortune 500 executives. He obtained his MBA with honors from the University of Chicago, and graduated with honors from Carnegie Mellon University. (This is me - Update Profile)
