Susan Irwin

Susan Irwin is the President and Founder of Irwin Communications, Inc., a company providing consulting, market research, and strategic communications services to satellite and telecom service providers, media and broadcasting companies, investment firms, and government and enterprise end users. She specializes in satellite applications and markets, fixed and mobile satellite services, direct-to-home services, distance learning, VSAT, business television, IPTV, HDTV, and satellite broadband services.

Ms. Irwin is an internationally known expert in the satellite communications industry since 1977. She is the Chair of SATCON, the Satellite Application and Content Delivery Conference and Expo. She is also the Co-Founder and Director Emeritus of the Society of Satellite Professionals International, Chairperson of the Global VSAT Forum's Broadband Multimedia Working Group, and is on the Board of Directors of the Arthur Clarke Foundation.
