Susan Abbott

Susan Abbott is a Managing Director at New Harbor, a Connecticut-based investment banking consulting firm. Ms. Abbott currently participates regularly in expert witness cases related to the ratings agency industry. In addition, she also chairs and moderates vaious panels focused on this industry. Previously, Ms. Abbott was the Managing Director of Rating Groups at Moody’s Investors Services and spent 20 years with the firm until her departure in 2002. She has worked extensively internationally, and spent several years in Europe on behalf of Moody's. Ms. Abbott has in-depth knowledge of credit and the rating agencies extremely well, and is experienced in raising money for both established companies and new businesses.
