Steve Shaffer is a 25 year veteran of the IT industry and is currently the President and CEO of Zunesis, Inc., a value added reseller (VAR). Zunesis buys its products from Avnet & other distributors. The company covers the Western US, excluding California, and the Ohio Valley / Mid-West and is focused on enterprise server solutions, enterprise storage solutions, enterprise networking solutions and enterprise data protection solutions. Key vendors include HP (Elite/Platinum); Cisco; Oracle (Enterprise Partner); VMware (VAC); Veritas (Enterprise Partner); Data Domain; ComVault; Riverbed; Bluecoat; and NeoScale (Gold Partner). From 2002 to 2004, Mr. Shaffer was with Avnet, and prior to 2002, he was an executive with Sprint. He has written several books dealing with Security, Electronic Commerce and Open Systems.
