Steven Alonso

Steven Alonso is the President and Co-Founder of Citon Group, a joint venture property and casualty insurance originator. Mr. Alonso continues to be active in the consumer financial services space as an investor and board member for various companies. He also continues to consult in the consumer and mortgage lending markets. Mr. Alonso was the Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Oak Street Mortgage, an Indiana-based retail and wholesale Mortgage Bank. The company grew from a small start-up in 1999 to one of the top 100 lenders in the United States. From 1993 to 1999, Mr. Alonso was the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Consumer Financial Services Division at Bank One Corporation, which included Bank One Mortgage Corporation (conforming mortgage company), Bank One Financial Services (non-conforming mortgage company), Bank One Education Finance and Bank One Tax Related Services.Prior to Bank One, Mr. Alonso was a Division General Manager for Household Finance.
