Steve Rubinstein, OD, is a Clinical Optometrist at Diamond District Eye Associates and Sound Shore Vision Center, office based practices in New York. Dr. Rubinstein has a biochemical background. He has won the Frank R. Blood award by the Society of Toxicology for the best paper in this peer reviewed publication. Dr. Rubinstein is also an adviser with Cancer Care, Inc. and presents to groups of patients as a cancer survivor. He has interest in ocular evaluation of glaucoma using coherent lasers. This agreement seems to allow Alcon Laboratories, Inc and Astra-Zeneca to work together to produce ocular medications. What it doesn't say is that they can also use Ciba Vision's resources in the near future.
