Steve Fortuna is the President of Fortuna Consultants, providing consulting engineering and feasibility studies to the telecommunications industry. Previously, he was a Network Architect with Charter Communications since October 2007. He has more than 18 years of experience in designing and implementing network technologies for AT&T, Webex, Nortel, Verizon, Level3, Cox and Charter, among others. He is also experienced in market strategies, cost/benefit ratios, convergence efficiencies and technology drivers. He is knowledgeable in products and services from all major Telecoms, CLECs, Cable Companies, Wireline and Wireless Service Providers including Cox, Comcast, Sprint, AT&T, T-Mobile, NTT and others. He is a member of the Society of Cable/Telephony Engineers, North American Network Operators Group, the Metro Ethernet Forum and other leading organizations. He evaluates new technology trends with an eye to cost savings, business process improvement and consumer demand/adaptation rate. Steve is also a Producer at Big Green Monster.TV, an internet portal.
