Steve Fanchiu is the President and CEO of Genttix Inc., a start-up based in San Jose, which engages in design of portable devices with supply chains in Asia for system assembly and components such as LCD display and semiconductor. Prior to Genttix, Steve, as EVP, was responsible for overseas products of Wieson's LCD business, supplying branded LCD TV. He'd overseen supply base in Asia for system assembly, TFT-LCD panel (CMO, AUO and LG), video chip, etc. He has good relationships with major ODMs for notebook computer, mobile device, and display product, and is knowledgeable in areas of plastic molding, electronic components, and display solutions. He used to work for Foxconn, Optoma/Coretronic (for DLP projector), Wieson, DuPont, as manager/executive for engineering, supply, and marketing functions in volume production environments.
