Council Member Biography
Shoji UDAGAWA is currently a senior consultant at Big Picture International. Mr. Udagawa is expert on film, TV, DVD, Digital Cinema, international content sales and also a research specialist of Asian markets, including China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Korea and other Asian South East film and TV industry. Previously he was EVP, Head of International for Asia Content Center from 2008. From 1990-95 he was Director of JVC Entertainment and Liaison officer of Largo Entertainment. From 1996-99 he was Deputy General Manager of Acquisition, Distribution and Marketing at JVC. In 2000, Udagawa moved to Kadokawa Publishing as VP of international sales and Acquisitions. In 2005 Udagawa became Board Member & EVP Kadokawa Herald Pictures, Inc. as well as Board Member, Kadokawa Pictures USA. He also became Board Member, Intercontinental Group Holding (Hong Kong). In 2007 Udagawa moved to Filosophia Entertainment Alliance as EVP and was named Advisor to Uni-Japan and Technicolor, Inc. (USA). (This is me - Update Profile)
