Dr. Shelley Rhoades-Catanach

Council Member Biography

Shelley Rhoades-Catanach, PhD, is a Tax Professor at Villanova University, in Pennsylvania. Dr. Rhoades-Catanach has over 10 years of academics experience in teaching tax at the graduate and undergraduate levels. Previously, she served as a Tax Professor at Washington University. Prior to entering academia, Dr. Rhoades-Catanach was a Senior Tax Manager at Arthur Anderson. She also teaches a variety of tax CPE courses for the AICPA, including Taxation of Mergers and Acquisitions, International Taxation, Purchase and Sale of a Business, and Multistate Income Taxation. Dr. Rhoades-Catanach is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). She is a co-author of two tax textbooks: Principles of Taxation for Business and Investment Planning, and Advanced Strategies in Taxation.
