Scott Witt is the Co Director of Freight Systems Division at Washington State Department of Transportation. Previously, Mr. Witt was a State Rail and Marine Director at Washington State Department of Transportation. He is currently heavily involved in the high speed rail ARRA stimulus projects. Mr. Witt is responsible for directing freight and passenger operations and developing rail and marine strategies and policies for the State. He has over 30 years of experience in managing transportation and logistics operations in industrial and transportation service companies. Mr. Witt also has experience in managing ocean chartering and stevedoring, rail equipment and rail shipment, truck load (TL), less than truck load (LTL), airfreight and intermodal operations. He has experience in procurement of inbound raw material and out bound finished goods, contracts and service agreement negotiations and project management. Mr. Witt also provides consultancy in steel and transportation industries. (This is me - Update Profile)
