Sasa Mutic, MS, is the Chief of Clinical Medical Physics and Associate Professor of Radiation Oncology at Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at Washington University School of Medicine, Missouri. His main clinical and research interests include implementation of different medical imaging modalities in the radiotherapy treatment planning and delivery process. Mr. Mutic has written and lectured extensively on this topic. He has published over 40 manuscripts in leading radiation therapy and medical physics related journals. Mr. Mutic has also authored a number of book chapters and provides editorial support for several medical journals. He also actively participates in all aspects of radiation therapy delivery at the Washington University including external beam, brachy-therapy, and sterotactic services. Mr. Mutic is a prominent member of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine. He is certified in Therapeutic Radiological Physics by the American Board of Radiology.
