Sanford M. Brown is the Managing Partner of Bracewell & Giuliani’s offices in Dallas and Ft. Worth, Texas. He specializes in the representation of financial institutions specialty finance companies in matters involving state and federal laws and regulations. Mr. Brown also provides counsel to financial institutions involved in corporate transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, securities offerings, holding company formations and Subchapter S corporation elections. Previously, he served in the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency from 1987 until 1989. His responsibilities included a wide range of matters relating to the regulation of national banks, including the areas of risk-based capital and dividends. He is a faculty member of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking and is a frequent speaker at banking seminars and programs. Mr. Brown received his BSBA in Banking & Finance and his JD with honors from University of Arkansas, and his LL.M in Banking from Boston University. (This is me - Update Profile)
