Samir Mehta, MD

Samir Mehta, MD, is an Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylavnia. Previously, he was an Instructor at Harborview Medical Center, and Orthopaedic Surgeon and Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery in the Division of Orthopaedic Trauma at the University of Pennsylvania Health System. Dr. Mehta's clinical expertise and interests include total joint arthroplasty, spine surgery, and trauma surgery. His basic science research interests are in biomechanics and orthobiologics. Dr. Mehta serves as an advisor for purchasing and pricing on the Operating Room Committee for hip and knee, spine, and trauma implants.
