Ruurd de Fluiter

Ruurd de Fluiter is the Chairman of the Advisory Board of Talent&Pro, a consulting firm focused on international Insurance and Banking markets. Previously, Mr. Fluiter was CEO of Swiss Re UK, where he was responsible for a business volume of £456M. He undertook restructuring of the executive team, returned the company to profit and managed the new regulatory regime targeting greater capital adequacy requirements (N4 as recommended by the FSA). He was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of E.R.O. Advisory. Mr. Ruurd has a track record of organizational restructuring and portfolio repositioning, including his execution of Swiss Re UK's withdrawal from the international reinsurance market and his management of Mercantile and General Re's liquidation through a Solvent Scheme of Arrangement.
