Russel Huang, MD, is an Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon at Hospital for Special Surgery, and Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Weill Medical College of Cornell University and New York-Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Huang’s clinical interests are minimally invasive surgical techniques, lumbar stenosis and disc herniation, cervical disc herniation and spinal cord compression, scoliosis and spondylolisthesis, and disc replacement and nonfusion technologies. He has published and lectured extensively on topics such as lumbar stenosis and disc herniation, cervical disc herniation, intervertebral disc replacement, spine fusion, and cervical myelopathy. Dr. Huang's research funding has included grants from National Institutes of Health and Orthopedic Research and Education Foundation. He is recipient of many awards including Cervical Spine Research Society J.
