Roy Berlin is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Berlin Metals, a privately held, Chicago based metal service center engaged in the value added processing and distribution of flat rolled carbon steel and stainless steel products in slit coil form. Berlin Metals was founded in 1967 and its customers include well known manufacturers in the automotive, electronic, home construction, telecommunication, and container industries in North America. Mr. Berlin regularly meets with decision makers and executives of the companies he sells to, as well as senior executives and managers from the US, European, and Asian steel mills and trading companies who supply his company the steel required by his customers. He also has been an active participant for many years with the Metals Service Center Institute (MSCI), the metal service center industry's premier trade association, where he serves on the National Board of Directors, the Flat Rolled Council and the Central States Governing Board.
