Ron Covin recently retired from CEO of K & G Fashion Superstores, a $300M retail division of The Men's Wearhouse, with 1600 employees, and 85 stores nationally. Mr. Covin worked with the company from 2001 until July of 2004, prior to which he served as President of Off 5th SAKS, where he worked from 1993 in it's foundation, until August of 2004. Mr. Covin also worked in a number of other executive positions at Off 5th, including SVP, General Manager, and SVP GMM. Mr. Covin was largely responsible for the start-up of Off 5th, including the creation of merchandise structure and strategy, origination of the Home and Gift concept, and growing volume from $46M to over $365M. In his Presidency, he oversaw the SVP of Store Operations, 3 Divisional Merchandise Managers, a VP of Finance & Planning, and a VP of Human Resources & Marketing. (This is me - Update Profile)
