Rohit Arora, MD, FACC, FAHA, FASCI, FACP, is Professor of Medicine and Professor of Physiology and Biophysics at Chicago Medical School. He is also the Chairman of Cardiology and Associate Chairman of Medicine in the Department of Medicine. Previously, he was Chief of Cardiology at UMDNJ and Director of Interventional Cardiology and Catheterization Laboratory. He was the Director of Critical Cardiology and Cardiac Care Units at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, NY. He completed his cardiology and nuclear cardiology fellowship at Mount Sinai Medical Centre NY and interventional fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic, and lecturer in thrombosis at Albert Einstein College, NY. His research includes thrombosis, CAD, lipids, interventional, and preventive cardiology. He has coauthored more than four hundred papers and is the recipient of numerous awards and honors.
