Roberto Saracco, Ph.D., is the Director of Long Term Research and Scientific Communications at Telecom Italia, an integrated wireline carrier. He is also Director of The Future Centre in Venice, a research think tank on new Ecosystems and related Biz Models. He is responsible for development of technology and business scenarios for the evaluation of business opportunities. Dr. Saracco specializes in network management, internet services, and telecommunications networks for wireline and wireless services. He is experienced in marketing of research and was responsible for managing a Forward project for the World Bank in Latin America. Dr. Saracco is the Director of Sisters Society of COMSOC, IEEE and member of the Technical Activity Board for Strategy. He managed projects for World Bank and European Community. He is the Vice President of the Italian Telecommunication Association and co Chair of the Communications Future Program of the MIT. (This is me - Update Profile)
