Robert Wilder was the EVP CFO/COO at John Wiley & Sons Inc. a global publishing enterprise with $1+ billion in revenue. He was responsible for the financial, treasury, distribution, information technology, purchasing and investor relations functions. Bob participated in all major policy, mgt and strategic planning initiatives. He was a member of the Technology Steering Committee and Executive Advisory Committee. Activities included managing in developing, growth and mature markets globally traveling extensively in Europe, Asia, Australia and North America. He has substantial experience in rationalizing businesses for growth and opportunities including major acquisitons, divestments and start-ups. He was a chief architect of a major cost reduction, revenue enhancing and profit improvement program. Bob developed and now teaches a course in Finance/Planning for Publishing Professionals.
