Council Member Biography

Robert A. Weishaar is a Member and Head of the Washington DC office of McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC. His practice focuses on matters involving the state and federal regulation of electricity. He represents primarily large consumers of utility services before federal and state administrative agencies and appellate courts. He has substantial experience with electric industry restructuring in NEPOOL, PJM, MISO, SPP, and the Southeast, and has appeared before state regulatory commissions in PA, CT, GA, NJ, NY, OK, WV and DE, and before the FERC. Mr. Weishaar is a member of the PA Bar (Utility Law Section). Mr. Weishaar is a member of the Energy Bar Association, and served on its Board of Directors from 2004-2007. He presently serves on the Board of Directors of the Charitable Foundation of the Energy Bar Association. Before entering private practice, Mr. Weishaar served as an Attorney-Advisor for the Office of Administrative Law Judges at FERC. (This is me - Update Profile)
