Robert Mazzarella

Robert Mazzarella has over 33 years experience in the securities industry, including 18 years at Fidelity Investments. He retired as the President of Fidelity Brokerage Services, LLC in February 2002. As President, Mr. Mazzarella had overall responsibility for all of Fidelity’s retail brokerage products and services, including the company’s 80 investor centers across the country with over 1000 account executives and the rapidly growing online brokerage business. He joined Fidelity in 1983 as Vice President of client services for National Financial Correspondent Services (NFCS), which provides correspondent brokerage services to banks, broker/dealers, and insurance firms. Mr. Mazzarella served as President of NFCS from 1991 to 1995. He then became President of Fidelity Brokerage Services and President of the Institutional Group in 1999. While at Fidelity, he was a member of the board of directors at the Securities Industry Association (SIA), chaired the SIA's Discount Brokerage Committee, and was a member of the SIA's Market Structure Committee. Mr. Mazzarella has served on the board of the Philadelphia Stock Clearing Corporation and Depository, The Chicago Board of Options Exchange, The Cincinnati Stock Exchange, The Boston Stock Exchange, and Redibook, Inc. He was also a member of The New York Stock Exchange, and served on the New York Stock Exchange's Regional Firms Committee. (This is me - Update Profile)
