Robert Kaufmann

Robert Kaufmann is an independent consultant to the consumer packaged goods industry, which he has done since 2004. His focus is in business development, new product development, sales and marketing. He is knowledgeable in dairy, specialty, diet and kosher food categories. He also has knowledge on contract manufacturing and private label. Mr.Kaufmann served as Director of Business Development with Unilever/Bestfoods/CPC Food Service, where he worked from 1987 until 2004. At Unilever Bestfoods, he had responsibility for Rit Dye and Fabric Treatments, Niagara Spray Starch,imported products, Brownberry Croutons, Melba Toast and Private Label products. He has participated in several mergers,and divestitures. He developed a large private label business with NutriSystems and is familiar with the diet industry.
