Robert Ingalls served as Executive Vice President & CMO at Verizon (retired 03/07). He was responsible for the Consumer and Small to Medium Business Markets, as well as Operator Services and Public Telephones for the Telecom unit. This included top line revenue accountability for $22B, marketing, product line management, product development, brand management, advertising, distribution and sales. This entailed all Voice, Broadband, and Video products and services. Bob lead the development of Verizon's FiOS TV and FiOS Internet platforms. He was responsible for up to 35,000 people. His responsibilities during his 28+ year career entailed jobs across sales, marketing and business development disciplines at various levels. He had significant involvement and accountability in the integration for the merger of Bell Atlantic and NYNEX and the merger of the new Bell Atlantic and GTE to become Verizon. He has a BS in Economics from Randolph-Macon College and an MBA from George Mason University. (This is me - Update Profile)
