Council Member Biography

Roberto Biancardi is the Principal at Pavilion Group Consultants, since November 1995. Pavilion Group is a marketing consulting and private equity group serving clients in FMCG, tourism, beverage & hospitality, IT, finance, and service industries. He has most recently served as the Co-Founder and Director of Rockridge Group, a private equity investment company from June 2006 - March 2009. Its investments currently include companies in the Hospitality, FMCG distribution, digital media, and financial services. He has also worked as an CEO/Executive Director of Hutchison Services under various positions including Founding Director, Marketing Director, and Executive Director from 2000 - 2006. Hutchison (HCCS), which when floated on the Australian Stock Exchange was capitalized at over $200 million. After graduating with a degree in Marketing, Roberto joined IBM, in strategy & marketing, followed by CitiBank where he occupied various positions of increasing responsibility within the product management and marketing realm. Following numerous assignments in strategic planning and marketing he became Group Marketing VP - Business Markets for Westpac Bank. Roberto has over 27 years of experience and has expertise in various industries such as hospitality, IT, and service industries. He is currently Treasurer at Restaurant and Caterers Association of NSW Australia and was the past President at the association from 1996 - 2004.
