Ravi Munver, MD

Ravi Munver, MD, is Vice Chairman and Chief of Minimally Invasive and Robotic Urologic Surgery at Hackensack University Medical Center, New Jersey. He is an Associate Professor of Urology and holds faculty appointments at Touro University College of Medicine and UMDNJ Medical School. Dr. Munver has expertise in da Vinci Robotic Surgery at an institution with six da Vinci systems. He is a leader in laser procedures (Greenlight PVP, Holmium) for BPH/enlarged prostate. Dr. Munver is one of a select few with experience in high intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) for prostate cancer in the US. His other specialties are in cryosurgery, radiofrequency ablation (RFA), and laparoscopic/endoscopic surgery. Dr. Munver has authored over 200 manuscripts, articles, chapters, and abstracts. He is recipient of numerous national and international awards in recognition of clinical excellence, including Top Doctors-New York Metro Area, Top Urologists in the United States, and Best Doctors in America.
