Council Member Biography

Ralf Coenen is an independent Interim Manager and Partner at taskforce Management on Demand. Mr. Coenen acts as interim manager in CEO,CRO and COO positions with a particular focus on restructuring, change management, innovation management, product portfolio optimization, international business processes and structures, as well as continuous improvement initiatives. Mr. Coenen’s most recent assignments as interim and project manager included Designated Managing Director at the model train manufacturer Märklin Holding; Member of the Board at the PC systems, servers and monitors manufacturer Maxdata; and Managing Director at the textile machinery equipment manufacturer Moenus Textilmaschinen. Before working as an interim manger, he was from October 2005 till January 2007 a Member of the Board at ComBase, a service company for logistics and repairs of telecommunication, IT and multimedia products. Mr. Coenen was in charge of international operations in EMEA, including restructuring initiatives and the set up of repair centers and join venture in South Africa, Nigeria and Kenya. Earlier from July 2000 till April 2005 he was a Member of the Board (COO / CEO) at the camera and sport optics manufacturer Leica Camera, being responsible for product development, production, logistics, procurement, quality management and the sales region Asia. From March 1996 till June 2006 Mr. Coenen was Vice President at Carl Zeiss, being responsible for the global lens business. (This is me - Update Profile)
