Phillip Winegar is the President at Winergy, a small firm devoted to enhancements in Fossil-Fired and Hydropower Electric Generation. Mr. Winegar is focused on boiler reliability and optimization, projections of where the utility industry is heading, feasibility of new power plants, economic evaluation, and technology assessment. Specific programs include CO2, SOx, and NOx emissions control, generation plant availability and reliability, development of advanced instrumentation, heat rate reduction, and plant maintenance optimization. He was past Chairman of the ESEERCO Fossil Fuel Advanced Generation Committee. Mr. Winegar was Past Chairman and member of Several EPRI Committees including Power Plant Maintenance Optimization, Power Plant Reliability, Power Plant Availability, Performance and NOx Control, Fuel Cell Technology, Power Plant Water Chemistry, and Distributed Generation. He holds three Technology Awards from EPRI. (This is me - Update Profile)
