Peter Styles is the principal consultant at Stratos European Policy in England, where he offers analytical and related consulting services to business clients with an interest in European Union policy development and regulation. He follows broad trends and inflection points across many fields of EU policymaking, legislation and regulation, including energy, climate change, constitutional reform, monetary and fiscal affairs, external trade, external relations, anti-trust enforcement and the internal market. Mr. Styles is particularly well known in the field of EU energy, focusing on electricity and gas liberalization (deregulation). He also follows developments in energy commodity pricing, greenhouse gas (carbon) emission allowance trading and the operation of wholesale energy markets in key European countries.
